Collagevita Multi-Collagen has been formulated to provide a broad spectrum of collagen peptides, alongside liposomal Vitamin C, to support the body's natural collagen production and maintenance processes.
Why Multi-Collagen?
Collagen is the most abundant protein in the body, providing structure, strength and elasticity to the skin, joints, bones, muscles, tendons, ligaments and connective tissues. However, from our mid-twenties onwards, collagen production begins to decline, accelerating further during menopause, periods of stress, illness and significant weight loss.
Unlike single-source collagen products, Multi-Collagen contains several collagen types, each with a different role:
Type I Collagen – The most abundant collagen in the body. Supports skin firmness, elasticity, hydration, hair, nails and bone strength.
Type II Collagen – Primarily found in cartilage and joints. Helps support joint comfort, mobility and resilience.
Type III Collagen – Works alongside Type I in the skin, blood vessels and internal organs, helping maintain tissue structure and elasticity.
Type V Collagen – Important for cell membranes, skin quality and connective tissue integrity.
Type X Collagen – Associated with bone metabolism and cartilage health, supporting skeletal strength.
By combining multiple collagen types, the body receives a wider range of amino acid building blocks to support various tissues simultaneously, rather than focusing on just one area.
Why Dosage Matters
Many collagen supplements contain relatively low doses, often between 2.5g and 10g per serving. However, much of the clinical research demonstrating meaningful improvements in skin quality, collagen density, wound healing, muscle maintenance and connective tissue health has utilised doses of 20g per day.
Collagevita provides a clinically relevant daily dose designed to support measurable tissue regeneration and collagen synthesis.
Why Vitamin C Is Essential
Taking collagen without adequate Vitamin C is rather like delivering bricks to a building site without having any cement.
Vitamin C plays a critical role in collagen synthesis. It acts as an essential co-factor for the enzymes responsible for stabilising and cross-linking newly formed collagen fibres. Without sufficient Vitamin C, the body cannot efficiently convert collagen-building amino acids into strong, functional collagen structures.
Vitamin C also:
Supports fibroblast activity (the cells responsible for producing collagen)
Provides antioxidant protection against collagen degradation
Helps protect skin from environmental damage
Supports wound healing and tissue repair
Contributes to immune system function
Why Liposomal Vitamin C?
Collagevita pairs its collagen with liposomal Vitamin C, which is encapsulated within microscopic lipid spheres. This delivery method may improve absorption and bioavailability compared with standard Vitamin C supplements, helping more of the nutrient reach the bloodstream and tissues where it is needed.
Who May Benefit Most?
Multi-Collagen supplementation may be particularly valuable for:
Individuals noticing signs of skin ageing
Menopausal and post-menopausal women
Patients undergoing aesthetic treatments such as PDLLA, PLLA, RF microneedling, HIFU or Endolift
Those experiencing hair thinning
Individuals with joint discomfort or stiffness
People recovering from illness, injury or surgery
Patients who have experienced significant weight loss, including following GLP-1 medications
Active individuals wishing to support muscle and connective tissue health
The Collagevita Philosophy
At Collagevita, collagen supplementation is viewed as part of a comprehensive regenerative strategy. Treatments such as biostimulators, energy-based devices and regenerative procedures work by stimulating collagen production, but the body still requires the raw materials and cofactors necessary to manufacture high-quality collagen.
Providing both multiple collagen peptide types and Vitamin C helps support the body's ability to respond optimally to those regenerative signals, creating a more holistic approach to healthy ageing, skin quality and tissue resilience.
